5th Generation 6.7L Cummins Maintenance Guide And Service Schedule
5th Gen 6.7L Cummins Maintenance Schedule (2019+ Ram HD)
The new 2019+ Ram Heavy Duty trucks are more capable than ever, boasting over 1,000 torque when a high output model is selected. All that torque gives you plenty of power to pull any trailer you can throw at it. Despite being so capable, these trucks still require time and attention when it comes to maintenance. The more diligent and serious you are about maintenance, the less problems you will experience down the road. There is no reason you shouldn’t get a couple hundred thousand miles out of your truck if you follow our 5th Generation 6.7L Cummins maintenance Guide.
You’ll want to follow to maintenance intervals given by Ram in your owner’s manual. It’s more than just that however, you’re going to want to use parts and fluids that meet or exceed OEM specifications. My suggestions is to use OEM filters and fluids exclusively on your 5th Gen Cummins. There is a little wiggle room when it comes to engine oil though as there are some really great aftermarket engine oils for a 5th Generation Cummins. I’m going to make it very easy for you. Just follow the charts listed below when it comes to maintaining your 2019+ 6.7L Cummins engine. Use the filters and the fluids I provide below. I’ll even provide links on where to buy them. Here’s everything you need to properly maintain your 5th Generation Ram with the 6.7L Cummins motor.

If you’re going to complete 5th Generation 6.7L Cummins maintenance by yourself, you need to use the right parts. Don’t cheap out and purchase aftermarket filters or fluids.
